On the looming research presentation deadline

This week I’ve been focusing on finishing some stuff for a short film made by fxphd.com (deadline today) and SPB has been on the back burner for the past few days. As I still haven’t received any answers to the emails I wrote about in the last SPB blog post, I asked Chris Wyatt for some help and he might help me with an interview and/or some sources on Monday or Tuesday. Close to the deadline, I know, but still better than nothing. Tomorrow, Saturday, I’m heading down to London to meet some people working or wishing to work in visual effects. Some of them have been in the industry for a while so if I ask nicely I might just get a short interview.
