Inspiration for the Final Year Project

Another course module I have this year is called Practical Project 60. In this module, students are supposed to come up with their own project where they can work on whatever they want.

As I am hoping to get into the visual effects industry, I’m planning on creating one or more visual effects shots to put on my showreel.

This far, I have mostly thought about techniques I wish to learn or use during the project:

What I’m lacking at the moment is an idea for one or more shots which incorporates these techniques. To get some inspiration, my project supervisor asked me to look for visual effects shots on the internet to get some inspiration for shots. Here are some shots in no particular order that I find interesting (might add more over time):
