Joining fxphd

Just signed up for the October 08 term of fxphd and am taking classes in fluid dynamics, Nuke and compositing. We’re two weeks in at the moment and it’s been pure joy so far. To see what fxphd is all about, watch the video below or head over to fxphd.com.

Edit: Updated to the July10 term video.

Oh, and by the way – if you decide to join fxphd after reading this, I would be grateful if you referred to thimic in the referral field. It’ll give me an extra class :-)

  • Looks like great fun. Been experimenting some with realflow the last months. I find it to be much faster more stable than reactor when it comes to collision, but haven’t gotten into the fluids yet(other than glue3D). Do u still use 3dsmax when you are taking these classes or do you use chinema4d/maya?

  • Thanks Andreas!

    Erlend:
RealFlow is great! Using max combined with the RealFlow plugin. My other classes are compositing classes, so I’m using Nuke for those.
